physical properties of barite: Mohs Scale Hardness is from 2.5 to 4.5,density is from 4.3 g/cm3 to 4.5 g/cm3,and the melting point is 1580 degree centigrade .
whenBarite is used in friction materials ,it can improve performance and reduce the cost,it is suitable for disc brake pads,drum brake pads and clutch
etc..
The recommended regular consumption of barite is from 2% to 8%.
