Jingyuxing p8.2 rgb outdoor led displays are used more and more by our clients, especially p8.2 virtual series. We used 1r1g1b virtual technology to make the visual performance more amazing. The virtual resolution could double the real pixel. This makes highly resolution finally accomplished with a lower cost.

Rgb pixels are digitally-controllable lights you can set to any color, or animate. Each rgb led and controller chip is molded into a 'dot' of silicone. The dots are waterproof and rugged. There are four flanges molded in so that you can 'push' them into a 12mm drill hole in any material up to 1.5mm/0.06" thick. They're typically used to make outdoor signs. Compared to our other 20mm led dots, these are diffused 8mm leds so they are not as bright but they color mix a little nicer.

The pixels are connected by a 4-conductor cable. +5v, ground, data and clock. Data is shifted down from one pixel to the next so that you can easily cut the strand or attach more onto the end.

Each dot is digitally controlled, with an internal 8-bit pwm led driver (24-bit color for 16 million different shades). The pixels must be clocked by a microcontroller

The pixels use 8mm diffused rgb leds, with a 120 degree beam width. The total max brightness of all leds is about 1600mcd but with the light more evenly distributed & mixed than a clear led. (please note: mcd ratings of leds are notoriously inflated by most led sellers, so be extra-skeptical when reviewing led ratings!)

Sold by the strand, each strand has 50 pixels in series! each strand has two jst sm 4-pin connectors so you can connect multiple strands in a row


If you want to connect to the input of a strand (to wire it to power and a microcontroller) please get a receptacle connector. If you want to connect to the output get a plug cable.

1, what is the led display LED Display (light-emitting diode display)is a screen display technology that uses a panel of LEDs as the light source, and can emit different color light by special arrangement. LEDs are small electronic devices which produce a very efficient light source. A typical LED display is composed of many LED panels, which are used as a form of illumination or for display.

The LED display is basically are designed by pixels, modules, panels and displays.
LED Pixel is the smallest unit that forms LED screens. LED Pixel is created with 3 different RGB colors as Red (R), Green (G) and Blue (B). The combination of these LEDs in different colors forms an LED pixel.
LED Module refers to the group of pixels that make up the LED screens. This is the group of LED panels that forms the cabinets.
LED Cabinet A certain number of LED modules are mounted on special constructions,The combination of cabinets creates full-screen images.

More specifically, LED display screen is made up of a series of LED chips to range, it is also named as LED dot matrixes. The distance between LED chips is named pixel pitch, for example, the P3 LED display screen with 3mm pixel pitch consists of several 3mm pixel pitch modules.

The smaller the pixel pitch is, the bigger the pixel density is, the higher the module resolution is, the clearer the screen is. but that does mean the LED display with the smallest pixel pitch is the most proper LED display, because that depends on your requirements like used in indoor or outdoor? your budget? Does power provide? and the viewing distance? those are the necessary elements we need to take into consideration when we choose LED display.
