Blockboard is classified as a plywood due to it's construction of at least 3 veneers (face, core & back). However, it differs from plywood as it's core is comprised of strips of solid timber or veneer laid on edge which is bonded and then faced with veneers on each side
*We have 3 kinds of Blockboard, it can be divide into :
-Falcata Blockboard
-MLH Blockboard
-Blockmine (Melamine Blockboard)
*BLOCKBOARD:
Is made up of softwood/hardwood strips and veneers (strips of softwood/hardwood glued together and faced with veneers). Suitable for furniture, durable time, does not split easily.
*BLOCKBOARD MELAMINE:
Blockboard that cover with melamine, suitable for design interior or exterior.
Blockboard is made up of lumber core or barecore and sandwiched between veneers with a grain perpendicular. This blockboard platform are finely sanded and ready to be accept any thin & decoratice veneers as required in furniture and interior industry. Blockboard has good screw holding strength.
