Neodymium magnets (also known as NdFeB, Neo or NIB magnets), are strong permanent magnets made from an alloy of neodymium, iron & boron. Part of the Rare-Earth magnet family, they have the highest magnetic properties of all permanent magnets. Due to their high magnetic strength and relatively low-cost, they are the preferred choice for many consumers, commercial, industrial and technical applications.NdFeB is divided into sintered NdFeB and bonded NdFeB. Bonded NdFeB is magnetic in all directions and corrosion resistance and is divided into Bonded Compression NdFeB Magnet and Bonded Injection NdFeB Magnet; while sintered NdFeB is easy to corrosion, the surface requires coating, generally divided into axial and radial magnetic charging. Advantages of Sintered NdFeB Magnet : 1. Very hard and brittle, high diamagnetic resistance, high cost / performance ratio, not suitable for high working temper ature; 2. Magnetic performance is higher than that of the rare earth cobalt permanent magnet, the residual magnetic induction strength, magnetic induction coercivity, the maximum magnetic energy product is very high, is the current magnetic performance of the best permanent magnet; 3. High cost performance.
Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) rare earth permanent magnets Known as the Third Generation of Rare Earth magnets, Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) magnets are the most powerful and advanced commercial permanent today. Since made from Neodymium, one of the most plentiful rare earth elements, and inexpensive iron, NdFeB magnets offer the best value in cost and performance. NdFeB magnets are available in both sintered and bonded forms. Sintered NdFeB offers the highest magnetic properties (33MGOs to 51MGOe) while boned NdFeB offers lower energy. Although boned magnets do not possess magnetic properties as advanced as those of sintered magnets, they can be made in shapes and sizes that are difficult for sintering to achieve. Characteristics: 1. Moderate temperature stability The working stability is under 80¡ãC (180¡ãF) for low Hcj NdFeB magnets and above 200¡ãC (400¡ãF) for high Hcj NdFeB magnets. 2. Excellent energy The highest energy product could reach up to 51MGOe. 3. Extremely resistance to demagnetization with Hci The intrinsic coercive force is over 30KOe. 4. Surface treatment needed Because NdFeB is easy to oxidize and corrode, coating or plating must be applied to the surface to protect magnets from oxidization and corrosion. Common applications DC and servo motors, Linear actuators, Magnetic separators, Speakers, Microphone assemblies, Sensors, VCM (voice coil motor), MRI
Widely used in motors, machines, engines audio product and other industrial products. Different shapes and sizes according to customer's needs.
Product information: • Produced by the powder metallurgical method with chemical composition of Nd2Fe14B • Very brittle and hard • Poorest corrosion resistance of all commercial magnetic material • High resistance to magnetic demagnetization • Excellent cost to performance ratio • Reasonable temperature stability • Not suitable for application which exposed to high temperatures.
The sintered ndfeb magnet has the high remanence, high coercive force, high energy product and high ratio between performance value and product cost.It may be easily formed into various sizes, and especially suitable for used in micro products of auto, motor, natinal defence, speaker, computer, biology project, medical treatment machine , instrument and meter etc
