Description: It is made of expanded PTFE yarns with reinforced corner from continuous aramid filament, a combination of proved top qualities. It has high cross-sectional density and structural strength. This structure enhances the lubricability of aramid fiber and reinforces the strength of the pure PTFE packing. This special combination packing takes a very important role for high pressure piston pump application. It is recommended for piston pump in the universally applicable within the PH range 2-13. PTFE packing It is a interlock braided packing manufactured from pure ptfe yarns pretreated with ptfe dispersion, plus a break-in lubricant to reduce the coefficient of friction. This is a dimensionally stable packing, yet relatively soft and pliable, which has excellent lubricating and running characteristics. The packing is made of white asbestos fiber cords impregnated with ptfe dispersion.(addtition of lubricant is operational.) it is soft in texture and suitable as the sealing of pumps for liquidated chemicals. However, packing impregnated with lubricants is reco-mended for use with reciprocating pumps or for the sealing in places where linear velocity is up to 10m/s.

Ptfe graphite packing Interlock braid, using ptfe/graphite yarn and a high temperature break-in lubricant yarn is formed from expanded ptfe in which fine particles of pure graphite have been encapsulated. The resulting packing combines the chemical resistance of ptfe with the heat dissipation characteristics of graphite, thus allowing much higher shaft speeds than conventional ptfe packings.
