Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting (VCI) Paper is a special economical and environment protective VCI
packing material which is processed on the basis of VCI fluid and al l-wood-pulp neutral Kraft paper, used for package, transport and storage of iron or nonferrous metal.

Product Introduction:
VCI powder is a kind of water soluble corrosion inhibiting product, which is applicable to the dry or wet corrosion inhibition in the closed space. After gasification, VCI powder forms a protective layer on the metal surface to prevent the metal from direct contact with oxygen and water molecule in the air, and further to prevent the metal surface corrosion effectively.

Application Method and Attentions:
1íóFor bulk powder, use the low-pressure air tube or sprayer to evenly spray the powder in bulk
2íóPay attention to seal the internal space or aperture after application
3íóCan be put in a gauze or in paper bags with good ventilation for application
4íóThe best distance of using VCI powder shall not exceed 30CM
5íóThe specific gravity of gasified VCI powder is heavier than gas, so it is advised to place the VCI powder at the top of package.
6íóGeneraly, for the packaged content of 1 m , VCI powder is about 100g.

Product Introduction:
Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting (VCI) Film is the core technical product of Suzhou Keysun Company, and has passed the testing of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan Research Institute of Materials Protection and SGS, etc. It is a kind of corrosion inhibiting film produced in the co-extrusion method. When Keysun VCI film or VCI bag is used in the metal product packaging, volatile corrosion inhibitor gasifies in the constrained space and agglomerates on the metal surface, including holes, hollows, gaps and other inaccessible surfaces, forms a gas-phase protective layer, so as to prevent the metal products from corrosion. It is in compliance with the National Standard of the People's Republic of China, American Mi litary Standard MILB22019C and MILB22020C.

Commended Purpose:
The corrosion inhibition of aviation fittings, engines, auto fittings, components and mechanical
equipments in storage and transport.

Application Method and Attentions:
1.Make sure the packaged content free from corrosion when packaging
2. Keep the packaged content clean and free from any foreign matter or finger mark before
packaging
3.Keep a dry environment and the operators shall wear gloves at packaging
4.The product shall be treated with anti-corrosion process after the completion of production; and
the product temperature shall not higher than 50íµ before packaging
5.For VCI packaging, the most important proceeding is closed packaging; the tightness shall not
less than 95%
6.The space between VCI packaging film and packaged content shall not exceed 25cm
7.The corrosion inhibiting package shall be applied. If the size or interior and exterior superficial
area of content is too large or the environment is too wet during packaging, the assistant corrosion
inhibiting additives, such as VCI powder, corrosion inhibiting drier, etc., shall be used inside the
package. (Generally 1m space requires about 100g VCI powder.).

General:
Rustoper (corrosion terminator) VCI Bag is made by processing high-quality VCI films as basic materials. VCI plastic film is the new generation of creative hi-tech products based on the combination of the high polymer material and VCI antirust technology. After the film is used to pack and seal the articles for antirust, VCI contained in the film begins to sublimate and volatilize the antirust gas factors which diffuse and penetrate into the surfaces of the articles for antirust and adhere on them to form a compact protection film with the thickness of monomolecular to avoid the surfaces of the articles for antirust in contact with all factors inducing corrosion, thus the corrosion is effectively prevented.

Applicable Metals:
The VCI film is applicable to ferrous metal, alloy steel, cast iron, copper, brass, bronze, plated metal, zinc and its alloy, chrome and its alloy, cadmium and its alloy, nickel and its alloy, tin and its alloy, aluminum and its alloy, and other metal materials and their products.

Application Method:
1. Clean and dry the surfaces of the articles for antirust before packing. Then pack and seal them at normal temperature and room temperature. In case of packaging with oil contained, it shall be confirmed there are no chemical components such as S and Cl. contained in oils. Otherwise the chemical components will have negative effects on VCI function.
2. Operate with clean gloves before packing, and do not contact the articles for antirust with naked hands.
3. In case the articles for antirust have projections and edge angles, be careful not to pierce the film during packing. In case of its unintended breakage, it shall be pasted and sealed with a industrial tape in time to ensure its seal.
4. During performing antirust packing operation, the working place shall be kept away from strong corrosive materials and acid-etching gases such as acid or alcali.
