Duplex Rolls have the advantage of Selecting the harder best performing Material on the working surface, Which is primarily a clear carbon Chilled cast iron or a cr-ni-mo Alloyed chill cast iron & a relatively Softer material inside. After casting The rolls are annealed to relieve the Internal stresses thus improving the Strength of the material. After heat Treatment the rolls are machined & Fitted with spindles from both sides. Fluting is also done on the roll Surface as per requirement of the Customer.
