Descriptions:
High-alumina bricks are made from bauxite, a naturally occurring material containing aluminum hydroxide (al[oh]3) and kaolinitic clays. These raw materials are roasted to produce a mixture of synthetic alumina and mullite.
By definition high-alumina bricks contain between 60 and 95 percent alumina and much more robust than fireclay refractories at high temperatures and in basic environments.
In addition, these bricks exhibit better volume stability and abrasion resistance.
Applications:
High-alumina bricks are used in blast furnaces, blast-furnace stoves, liquid-steel ladles, steel refining furnaces, glass tanks, ceramic kilns, enamel kilns, rotary cement kilns and other vVarious kilns and furnaces.
High alumina firebricks are classified according to the alumina content which is from lowest 48% to highest 95%, manufactured from mineral of bauxite, corundum, etc. By mixing, press-forming, drying, sintering and machining. High alumina bricks feature stable mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance, with high refractoriness of no lower than 1880¡æ, high alumina bricks are commonly used as refractory lining exposed to heat directly or backup insulation linings in various types of industrial kiln or laboratory furnace. Checker bricks is strong is widely recognized and accepted by the world community an iron heat exchange capacity, large thermal storage area, ventilation smooth, heat regenerator many small thermal resistance and other superior characteristics. Checker bricks is a heat transfer medium, used in blast furnace stove heat storage room, usually ordered in thermal storage room, play a role in regenerative between "burning furnace cycle" in between "blast period" is Through the convective heat exchange and radiation heat exchange, the cold air heated to hot air. The checker bricks are mainly used in the regenerator of the hot blast stove, and the checker bricks are arranged in an orderly manner. According to the technical requirements of different temperature areas, the general use of silicon lattice brick, clay brick, etc., in some hot air stove, there are also selected high alumina brick, mullite brick etc.
Our high alumina brick is manufactured with selected bauxite chamotte as main material, fired at high temperature by advanced process with strict quality control. High alumina, as the name tells, meaning the content of alumina percentage is higher than 45. And alumina is one of the most chemically stable oxides, it offers excellent hardness, strength and spalling resistance. Our high alumina brick is widely used in industries which need heat insulation, such as the linings of masonry furnaces, hearth and shaft of blast furnaces, ceramic kilns, glass tanks, cement rotary kilns and so on.
Product Introduction: High alumina brick refers to refractory products with Al2O3 content higher than 48%.It is made of bauxite or other raw materials of high alumina content .The refractoriness of high alumina brick can be more than 1770 C . According to the content of Al2O3, high alumina bricks are usually divided into three grades: Grade I Al2O3 content 75%; Grade II Al2O3 content is 60 75%; Grade III Al2O3 content is 48~60%. Application: High alumina bricks are mainly used for lining blast furnaces, hot blast furnace, electric furnace roofs, blast furnaces, reverberatory furnaces, and rotary kilns. Features: 1.Low creep. 2.Good slag resistance. 3.Strong thermal shock stability. 4.Good erosion resistance.
Performance characteristics: wear resistance, corrosion resistance, peeling resistance, low creep, good thermal shock stability, service life is 1.5 times that of ordinary products; Main uses: Mainly used in blast furnaces, hot blast furnaces, carbon roasting furnaces, carbon calciners, coke ovens, steel barrels, casting systems, boilers, cement kilns, glass kilns and various kiln lining and thermal equipment, etc., suitable for metallurgy, machinery, building materials, casting, ceramics, electric power, petroleum, chemical and other industries. Standard size:230*115*65mm First-class high-alumina bricks Al2O3 75% second-class high-alumina bricks Al2O3 60%~75% third-class high-alumina bricks Al2O3 48%~60%
1. High temperature strength; 2. Resistant to corrosion in various atmospheres; 3. Excellent thermal shock stability; 4. Good thermal insulation; 5. The energy-saving effect is remarkable The operating temperature is below 1350C. Thermal insulation refractories are characterized by high porosity, generally 40%-85%; Low bulk density and low dry 1.5g/cm3: low thermal conductivity, generally less than 1.0W (m.K), it acts as the thermal insulation material of industrial kiln, can reduce the heat dissipation loss of the furnace, save energy, and can reduce the quality of the equipment under heat, the mechanical strength, wear resistance and slag erosion resistance of the thermal insulation refractory material is poor, and it is not suitable for the load-bearing structure of the kiln and direct contact with slag, charge, molten metal and other parts
Mullite bricks refer to high-alumina refractories with mullite as the main crystalline phase, and the general alumina content is between 65% ~ 75%. It is mainly used for hot blast furnace top, blast furnace body and bottom, glass melting furnace regenerator, ceramic sintering kiln, petroleum cracking system dead angle furnace lining, etc. Mullite bricks have high refractoriness, up to more than 1790 C, and have good thermal shock resistance. There are two types: sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks. The crystallization of fused mullite is larger than that of sintered mullite, and the thermal shock resistance is better than that of sintered products. Aluminum content: 65-90% Standard brick size: 230*115*65mm Compressive strength at room temperature: 100-120MPa Good thermal shock resistance:
Aluminum content: 25-42% Compressive strength at room temperature: 30-45MPa Standard brick size: 230*115*65mm Cost-effective: The phosphoric acid impregnated products of blast furnace clay bricks with good thermal stability and qualified quality after drying treatment and secondary low temperature firing can be used for masonry of the upper part of the blast furnace furnace lining.
