Mica is a hydrated phyllosilicate mineral of aluminium and potassium with formula KAl(F, OH), or (KF) (AlO) (SiO). Muscovite can be cleaved into very thin transparent sheets that can substitute for glass, particularly for high-temperature applications such as industrial furnace or oven windows. It is also used in the manufacture of a wide variety of electronics and as a filler in paints, plastic, and wallboard. Our monthly supply of these mineral ranges from 1000-2000MT.
Mica is a shiny silicate mineral with a layered structure. The mica group of sheet silicate (phyllosilicate) minerals includes several closely related materials with nearly perfect basal cleavage. All these materials are monoclinic, with a tendency towards pseudohexagonal crystals; they are also similar in chemical composition. Where is it found Mica is widely distributed and it occurs in igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary regimes. It is typically mined from graniticpegmatite. Apart from being fire-proof, Mica has the following strengths: High dielectric strength. Endurance. Uniform dielectric constant. Low dielectric loss (or High Q). High electric resistivity. Superior insulating properties. Quality Aspect: Along with our other products, production of Mica has accredited us unique in the market. Our product holds good reputation in the production of Mica Sheet, Foundry Chemicals and Welding Electrodes. Fields Of Usage: Paints. Welding electrodes. Foundry Fluxes. Oil Well drilling. Cables & Wires. Metal Explosives. Paper. Packing: The standard packing units are 50 kg HDPE Bags, 1000 Kg and 1350 Kg jumbo bags. However, we can also make the packing units as per customer requirements.
This is muscovite ruby mica is high quality mineral mined from the Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, size 1-10cm, comes in pegmatite form of igneous rock, produce in both sheets and scrap shape, clean and clear, thermally stable, thin and flexible, perfect cleavage, use in cosmetics, electronics equipment.

Mica Muscovite Mica Muscovite Product Details Mica is a mineral name given to a group of minerals that are physically and chemically similar. They are all silicate minerals, known as sheet silicates because they form in distinct layers. Micas are fairly light and relatively soft, and the sheets and flakes of mica are flexible. Mica is heat-resistant and does not conduct electricity. There are 37 different mica minerals. The most common include: clear muscovite, brown phlogopite, black biotite and sericite. From processing technic, it can be divided into dry ground mica and wet ground mica. Muscovite is the most common mineral of the mica family. It is an important rock-forming mineral present in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. It is also the most widely used mica. Appearance: Not only transparent and nearly colorless, most have a slight brown, yellow, green, or rose-color tint. Luster: Pearly to vitreous Crystal form: Usually in large crystal with a pseudohexagonal outline Distinguishing feature: 1.Insulation 2.High temperature resistant. 3.Stable physical and chemical property. 4.Good heat insulation, elasticity and toughness. -
