Kaolin is made up of Mineral Kaolinite, with a chemical formula of Al2Si2O5(OH)4. It is mainly a form of soft clay made up of Hydrated Aluminum Silicate. Kaolin is also known as China Clay and is a naturally occurring mineral which is whitish in color and is odorless. It can also be Reddish Brown, Dark Brown, Yellow or Even Grayish in color. It is developed from granite with the chemical reaction that took place due to moist and hot climates. Kaolin can partially use to replace TiO2 and even substantial it can also replace Synthetic Aluminum Silicates. When it has bound with water molecule it is termed as Hydrous Kaolin. When this clay is set to high temperatures, that process is called Calcination and Kaolin Calcined is formed. Kaolin when mixed with water to form Slurry and further processing it, we get water washed Kaolin or washed China Clay. Kaolin finds its application in Paint, Plastic, Paper and Ceramic industry, Pharmaceutical and Drug industry and also in Rubber Industry. Kaolin is widely used and has many functional benefits, therefore, Jyoti Chemical offered Kaolin is strictly as per our requirement with high level of purity. Our offered Kaolin is chemical and shock resistance and has high whiteness along with brightness. Jyoti Chemical offered Kaolin is of two types i.e. Hydrous Kaolin and Kaolin Calcined, available in Powder, Lumps and Granules form.

Chemically, kaolin is a hydrated aluminium silicate containing Al2O3.2SiO2.2H2O. Kaolin was first discovered in the mountainous province of Kiangsi, China in A.D. 500. The word â??kaolinâ?? derives from the Chinese character â??kaolinâ?? which means high ridge. It was first used by the Chinese to make high quality porcelain. At PURESIL INDIA, processed or refined kaolin is available in white powder form, granule cum powder form, and in lumps form.
