DESCRIPTION The SZ-48P-5A 5-Axis Series CNC machine is a mid-sized CNC for machining wood, composites, plastics and non-ferrous metals. The SZ-48P5A is built on a massive steel frame with fixed gantry, moving table design to ensure maximum rigidity at the cutting tip. The structure of the machine allows for high speed simultaneous 5 axis machining and is has a machining area of 3100 x 1850 x 950mm. The SZ-48P5A comes as standard with a powerful 10kw HSD spindle and 8 position rotary ATC as standard. High speed machining and smooth motion are achieved using a state of the art OSAI NC control system. APPLICATIONS The SZ-48P5A is a state of the art 5-Axis machining centre with full 5 axis interpolation. Designed with mould manufacture in mind the SZ-48P5A is an extremely rugged machine with an extra heavy duty gantry and machine table for maximum rigidity and strength to provide high speed machining in all 5 axes.
