Pulping agent
This product is used in the production of chemi-mechanical, chemi-thermomechanical and sulphite pulp. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
Oxygen scavenging and chlorine removal
This product is used in steam boiler water treatment to remove dissolved oxygen and to remove excess chlorine from wastewater. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
Solubilizing agent
This product is used as a solubilizing agent in vegetable tanning. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.
Reducing and sulfonating agent
This product is used as a sulfonating agent and reducing agent in chemical process with significant applications for surfactants and polymerization. It is a white granular product that is readily soluble in water.

It is primarily used in pulp and paper industry. It is used as an oxygen scavenger agent , in the photographic industry to protect developer solutions from oxidation, in textile industry as a bleaching, as a desulfurizing and as a dechlorinating agent and in leather trade for the sulfitization of tanning extracts. It is used in chemical manufacturing as a sulfonation and sulfomethylation agent. It is used in the production of sodium thiosulfate. It is use in other applications include ore flotation, oil recovery, food preservative, making dyes, and detergent. It is mainly used in medicine, tannage and tanning.
