Capacitor film is a core material for capacitors and inverters for stable power supply of eco-friendly vehicles such as HEV, PHEV, BEV, and FCEV, inverters used in solar and wind power, which are eco-friendly energy sources, and capacitors used in general household appliances. It is the only manufacturer in Korea and ranks third in global market share.

We will lead the future high value-added industry by producing ultra-thin films for BOPP capacitors used in next-generation eco-friendly vehicles.
Capacitor film 2.3 used for eco-friendly vehicles is being developed and tested for quality. Currently, the standard time has been exceeded and continuous testing is in progress. After the test is completed, we plan to conduct an eco-friendly vehicle application test. Facility investment is underway to install one additional production line with the goal of producing ultra-thin capacitor films in the second quarter of 2023, when eco-friendly cars are in full bloom. When the facility is completed, competitiveness such as quality, price competitiveness, and productivity will increase, and it will emerge as a strong competitor in the global market monopolized by Japan.
