Its scent is characteristic, terpenic, fresh and sweet. The main active component(s) in a typical oil sample are: �±-Pinene (40 - 60%), -3-Carene ( 16 - 27%), Limonene (2 - 5%), Myrcene (1 3.5%), -Pinene (0.5 - 3%), ±-Thujene ±-Fenchene, Sabinene, and Terpinen-4-ol, all ranging 0.5 - 2%.
