NEOFLON FEP NP-Series
NEOFLON FEP is melt processable perfluoro co-polymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene.
FEP has excellent electrical properties like PTFE because FEP consists of only fluorine atoms and carbon atoms. The chemical resistance capability and mechanical characteristics are the same as ones of PFA, however the heat resistance is lower than PFA.
Grades and Features of NP-Series
Grades MFR
(g/10 min.) Features
NP-20 4.5 - 8.5 Suitable for general extrusion molding of wire coating, pipes, tubes and films.
NP-30 2.0 - 3.5 Suitable for thick-walled wire coating and wire jacket.
NP-101 21 - 27 Improved melt flowability.
Best suited for high-speed wire coating such as LAN cable.
