UV ABSORBER HOSORB-531 is a light stabilizer with good performance, capable of absorbing the UV radiation of 240-340 nm wavelength with the characteristics of light color, nontoxic , good compatibility, small mobility, easy processing etc. It can protect the polymer to its maximum extent, helps to reduce the color. It can also delay the yellowing and obstacle the loss of its physical function. It is widely applied to PE,PVC,PP,PS,PC organic glass, polypropylene fiber, ethylene-vinyl acetate etc. Moreover, it has very good light-stability effect on drying phenol aldehyde, varnish of alcohol and acname, polyurethane, acrylate, expoxnamee etc.
UV-531 can absorb 240-340 nm ultraviolet light, making it an excellent and efficient anti-aging additive. It has a great protective effect on polymers, helping to reduce color, while delaying yellowing and blocking physical property loss. Application UV-531 is a high-efficiency anti-aging additive with excellent performance, which can absorb 240-320nm nanometer ultraviolet rays, and has the characteristics of light color, non-toxicity, good compatibility, and easy processing. It is widely used in PE, PVC, PP, PS, polyurethane, rubber products, etc. Good compatibility with resin and low volatility. The recommended dosage is 0.1%--0.5%. UV-531 acts as a UV absorber ,finds application in formulating color cosmetics and hair-, sun- and body care products.
UV absorbent UV-531 is a kind of anti-aging additives with excellent performance and high efficiency, can absorb 270-340 nm UV light, with light color, non-toxic, good compatibility, small migration, easy to process and other characteristics. It provides maximum protection to the polymer and helps to reduce color, while delaying yellowing and arresting the loss of physical properties. It is widely used in PE, PVC, PP, PS, PC, plexiglass, polypropylene fiber and ethylene vinyl acetate and other aspects. And for the dry phenolic and alkyd varnish, polyurethane, acrylic acid, epoxy and other air-drying products and automobile refit paint, powder coating, polyurethane, rubber products, etc., to provide them with good light stabilization effect. The dosage of 0.1% to 0.5%.
1. Octocrylene is a UV-B filter that is approved in the USA, Europe, and Japan for use in sun care preparations. 2. Octocrylene is miscible with many cosmetic oils, it can easily be incorporated into the oily phase of an emulsion 3. Octocrylene is hydrophobic and oil-soluble, it is preferred for water-resistant and water-repellant formulations octocrylene is also compatible with all common plasticizers. Function & Application Octocrylene is a UVB sunscreen with strong water-resistant properties and a rather broad-band absorption range. It exhibits good photostability and is being evaluated by many companies as an effective SPF booster and waterproofing enhancer. This is an expensive ingredient with an approved usage level of 7 to 10 percent in both the United States and the European Union. Although gaining in popularity among formulators, its cost and usage level can limit use. In addition, some studies are indicating it may cause allergic reactions in the skin with a history of photoallergy. Use: Octocrylene is chemically related to cinnamates. It can be used to boost SPF and improve water resistance in a given formulation. Octocrylene is photostable and can improve the photostability of other sunscreens. It is expensive and can present difficulties in the formulation.
