Fused silica Introduction  Fused silica is made of high purity crystal silica by electrically fusing (fusing temperature 1800-2000â??) to amorphous Silicon dioxide , then it was classed to different grades by manual and then specially engineered to granular and powder form. Because fused silica has a very low thermal conductivity and excellent thermal shock resistance, it is used in lots of fields of investment casting, refractory, ceramic, epoxy modling compound, fusion bounded epoxy. Silica sand /Quartz sand is processed by crushing quartz grains of quartz, quartz stone is a kind of non-metallic minerals, is a hard, wear-resistant and stable chemical properties of silicate minerals, the main mineral component is SiO2, quartz sand the color is white or colorless, translucent, Mohs hardness of 7, quartz sand is an important industrial mineral raw materials, non-hazardous chemicals, widely used in glass, foundry, ceramics and refractories, smelting ferrosilicon, metallurgical flux, metallurgy, construction, chemicals, plastics, rubber, abrasive, media and other industries. Sandblasting Grade of Silica Sand Fine Quartz Sand From China Manufacturer Features: Hard, wear-resistant, chemical stability of minerals. Natural Silica Sand. Huge Reserve raw material of Silica sand in China. White granules shape Used in float glass Painting, ceramics and so on. Wide application in many industry. Water filtration Glass manufacture Industrial casting Sand blasting Producing concrete Adding texture to slick roads Silica sand impacts every aspect of daily life. Many industrial suppliers carry silica sand in bulk quantities, while some smaller household stores sell it in smaller amounts for home or home construction use.

Micro Silica Sand: Micro silica also known as fume, is an amorphous (non-crystalline) polymorph of silicon dioxide, silica. It is an ultrafine powder collected as a by-product of the silicon and ferrosilicon alloy production and consists of spherical particles with an average particle diameter of 150 mm. The main field of application is as pozzolanic for high performance concrete because of its extreme fineness and high silica. Applications : Silica is added to Portland cement concrete to improve its properties, in particular its compressive strength, bond strength, and abrasion resistance. These improvements stem from both the mechanical improvements resulting from addition of a very fine powder to the cement paste mix as well as from the pozzolanic reactions between the silica fume and free calcium hydroxide in the paste. Advantages : Addition of silica also reduces the permeability of concrete to chloride ions, which protects the reinforcing steel of concrete from corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments such as coastal regions and those of humid continental roadways and runways (because of the use of deicing salts) and saltwater bridges.
Silica sand is one of the most common varieties of sand found in the world. It is used for a wide range of applications. Sand is the general term for broken down granules of minerals or rocks, technically between about one-sixteenth of a millimeter to two millimeters in diameter, falling between silt and gravel in the spectrum of sizes. There are many varieties of sand in the world, each with their own unique composition and qualities. Silica is another name for Silicon dioxide, SiO2, of which quartz is a specific latticed structure. So silica sand is quartz that over the years, through the work of water and wind, has been broken down into tiny granules. These granules can be used for many different purposes, and can be found in most non-tropical regions.
