EDS desiccant compressed air dryers run the compressed air through a chamber filled with desiccant, usually activated alumina or Molecular Sieve. The desiccant adsorbs the moisture in its millions of pores, trapping it. The air dryer is using a smart controller and the compressed air changes chambers control by an adjustable Timer in the control panel. The wet desiccant is regenerated and dried by the compressed air dryer hot purge air.
