The high pressure steam hose is designed for transfer of steam in many applications, such as fire prevention, heat control and industries where steam must be transferred safely and reliably. It is resistant to bursting, cracking and crushing even under accidental exposure to flame, while being quite flexible and resistant to vibration. It consists of black, smooth, EPDM rubber especially compounded to withstand super heated steam. It is covered with smooth, black and weather abrasion and reinforced with piles of carbon steel wire. Tube: Black, smooth, EPDM rubber especially compounded to withstand super heated steam. Cover: Red, smooth (wrapped) EPDM rubber with excellent resistance to high temperature, weather, abrasion and aging. It is pin-pricked to prevent separation. Reinforcement: Piles of carbon steel wires. Temperature: -40 C to +236 C (-40 F to +456 F).
Our 17 bar red steam hose offers excellent high pressure resistance for use in steam and fluid transfer applications. We manufacture this particular hose from a high quality EPDM rubber due to the excellent weathering resistance the material provides.
