The machine adopts double power control system: the main shaft rotor is directly driven by 11 - 18.5kw motor through the belt pulley and V-belt, which is responsible for cutting and rolling the straw; the 2.2kW motor drives the feed roller through the cycloid pin wheel reducer, belt pulley and belt, which is responsible for the flattening and feeding of straw. 2.2kW motor is controlled by steering switch, which can realize forward and reverse rotation.
