Product Name : Vetiver Oil
Product Description : Essential oils, used since ancient times, are highly concentrated steam-distilled extracts of any part of a plant, that improve physical and psychological well-being. They retain the natural odor or ‘essence’ of their source and are volatile in nature. Vetiver oil is quite fragrant, with a distinctive sharp and earthy scent you may recognize from men's cologne. Vetiver essential oil is distilled from the vetiver plant's roots, which are aged before being soaked in water. The highly concentrated oil that is released is then skimmed off the top of the water.
Vetiver Essential Oil contains approximately 50% Sesquiterpenes and around 20% Sesquiterpenols making it very relaxing, grounding and well suited for emotional and spiritual application. Vetiver Essential Oil is remarkably soothing and calming. The aroma of Vetiver Essential Oil is strong on its own. A little goes a long way. Many prefer to use it sparingly in blends so as not to overpower the other essential oils in the blend.
