RS Sub-white fused alumina is a new corundum product used to solve the problems in the process of the traditional Sub-white fused alumina replacing the white fused alumina and tabular alumina according to the practical needs of refractory manufacturers and practical experience, which is jointly developed by the company and luoyang institute of refractories.With high-purity alumina bauxite as main raw materials, RS Sub-white fused alumina is made by special technique in electric arc furnace with high temperature above 2300 and refining with longer time. It is characterized by high temperature resistence, corrosion and erosion resistance, low apparent porosity and stable thermal stability performance. It solves such problems as bursting, crazing and pulverising in the process of sub-white corundum replacing aluminum-oxygen based corundums such as white fused alumina, RS Sub-white fused alumina is the ideal product which can substitute white fused alumina, compact fused alumina and tabular alumina in China.
RS-Sub-white fused alumina size sand(Barmac plastic) and micropowder(acid washing) produced by Rui Shi plants is characterized by without bursting, without pulverising and high bulk density, good flow property etc, which can be widely used to manufacture variety of shaped refractory material products, corundum castable refractory, and other monholithic bulk refrctory and caustic-burned corundum refractory products.
