Fused silica introduce : Fused silica is made of high purity crystal silica by electrically fusing (fusing temperature 1800-2000ºC) to amorphous Silicon dioxide , then they are classed to different grades by manual and then specially engineered to granular and powder form. Because fused silica has a very low thermal conductivity and excellent thermal shock resistance, it is used in lots of fields of investment casting, refractory, ceramic, epoxy modling compound, fusion bounded epoxy. Fused silica application: Refractory, ceramic, investment casting, foundry, epoxy molding compound, fusion bounding epoxy powder coating. Fused silica chemical composition SiO2>99.9% AL2O3
Supplier: Cast iron skulls, cast iron borings and turnings, steels skulls, eaf skulls, plate iron, mill scale, metal scrap, incinerated scrap (e46)
Fused silica is a glass consisting of pure silica (SiO2) in amorphous form. Fused quartz has high working and melting temperatures, making it less desirable for most common applications. Fused silica is a glass consisting of pure silica in amorphous form. Applications â?? Electrode flux coating Optical components
Silica is mainly used as a carrier of agricultural chemicals. Finely crushed silica powder is coated with agricultural chemicals and sold on the market for agricultural use. Silica itself has no effects; it merely serves as a carrier, and so can be dispersed without affecting the farmland, which makes it advantageous as a core material. It's used as Fire-resistant product powder, Agricultural chemical carrier, Agricultural chemical carrier, Construction board
Micro Silica Sand: Micro silica also known as fume, is an amorphous (non-crystalline) polymorph of silicon dioxide, silica. It is an ultrafine powder collected as a by-product of the silicon and ferrosilicon alloy production and consists of spherical particles with an average particle diameter of 150 mm. The main field of application is as pozzolanic for high performance concrete because of its extreme fineness and high silica. Applications : Silica is added to Portland cement concrete to improve its properties, in particular its compressive strength, bond strength, and abrasion resistance. These improvements stem from both the mechanical improvements resulting from addition of a very fine powder to the cement paste mix as well as from the pozzolanic reactions between the silica fume and free calcium hydroxide in the paste. Advantages : Addition of silica also reduces the permeability of concrete to chloride ions, which protects the reinforcing steel of concrete from corrosion, especially in chloride-rich environments such as coastal regions and those of humid continental roadways and runways (because of the use of deicing salts) and saltwater bridges.
We are supplier and exporter of Silica Sand. Silica Sand * Silica Sand is a type of sand usually available in the form of quartz. It is a hard and crystalline form of mineral components. * Silica sand is the most abundant mineral with the purity more than 99.0%.
