Pipe fittings are the general names of parts and components that play the role of connection, control, direction change, diversion, sealing and support in the pipeline system. Steel fittings are pressure fittings. According to the different processing technology, it is divided into four categories, namely, butt welding pipe fittings (divided into weld and no weld), socket welding and threaded pipe fittings, flange pipe fittings.

Alloy 20 forged fittings are well known for their outstanding mechanical qualities at both low and high temperatures. They are very resistant to general corrosion, crevice corrosion, and pitting. This feature can be maintained in a variety of media, including chlorides, acidic mediums, and a variety of acid-containing solutions. Itâ??s important to remember that the alloy 20 material will only keep its corrosion-resistant characteristics if itâ??s kept in optimal metallurgical and clean conditions. Sulfuric acid resistance is excellent in Alloy 20 forged fittings. They are also resistant to Phosphoric acid, nitric acid, and aqueous salt solutions. When chloride stress corrosion cracking is a concern, Alloy 20 forged fittings are a good choice since they resist pitting and crevice corrosion. In chloride ion-containing situations, caution should be exercised because the rate of corrosion can dramatically increase.

Storage tanks, mixing tanks, agitators, pump and valve parts, food processing equipment, fasteners, and fittings are examples of end-use applications.
