National Park of " Samaria" is a protected area being included to EU NATURA legislation . Our honey, is unique thanks to its aroma and taste. Honey's high nutritional value and it's stimulant and antiseptic properties, has a preventative effect against cardiovascular disorders ,a beneficial role against diseases of the urinary and digestive system. A recent research conducted by the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki-Greece, indicates that Greek honey, is significantly superior, in terms of properties, than the world famous Manuka honey. Introduced to the country during the gold rush of the 1800’s by Chinese miners, every October and November the side of the mountains are a mass of vivid purple thyme flowers and the air is filled with the amazing fragrance given off by this herb. Lychee Flower Honey: Our first produce of the year, came from Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, located at altitude of 2400ft. Our bees worked tirelessly, in the Lychee Orchards in the months of March and April to produce this exclusive and aromatic Lychee Honey. Its aromatic floral flavour makes it the most popular honey among young children. 2. Wild Thyme Flower Honey: The most valuable and highly medicinal honey, produced at an altitude of 12,000ft in the Miyar Valley of Lahaul Spiti district, Himachal Pradesh. With a strong acquired taste and a pungently herbal smell, Wild Thyme honey is mother nature's gift to us.
