3.It is used as a precipitant for rosin wax emulsion and other adhesive materials in papermaking industry, as a flocculant in water treatment, and also as a retention agent for foam fire extinguishers to produce Aluminum white raw materials, oil decolorization deodorant and some pharmaceutical raw materials can also make artificial stones and advanced ammonium alum, accounting for about 50% of the total production of aluminum sulfate is used in papermaking,
4.The second largest use is in drinking water industrial water and industrial wastewater treatment as a flocculant, accounting for about 40% of the total production of aluminum sulfate When aluminum sulfate is added to such water, colloidal aluminum hydroxide flocs, which can absorb and precipitate bacterial colloid and other suspended matter, can be formed and used in drinking water treatment to control the color and taste of the water.
