Stainless Steel Filter Cartridges
Stainless steel cartridges are filters made of multiple layers of stainless steel 304/316 mesh with a protective stainless steel cartridge housing. The middle mesh layer determines the filtration efficiency and is covered with an outer and inner layer of coarser mesh to provide support and protection. These stainless filter cartridge can be designed in plain cylindrical or pleated configurations to increase the filtration area.

Stainless Steel Pleated Filter Cartridge
Stainless steel pleated filter cartridge demonstrate good permeability, high tensile strength and are available from single wrap designs through to complex multi-layered structures in pleated constructions to optimise the area available. These meshes can be manufactured in diffusion bonded versions to increase performance security of pore shape and size and have the broadest range of pore sizes of any filter media type.The pleated design provides maximum surface area for higher flow rates and longer run times. With metal construction, these cartridges can be cleaned and put back into service, resulting in a longer service life than other types of media.
ZHUAN LV PM series precision woven meshes are manufactured in various types of weaves. Plain square weave is available for simple sieving duties through various weave patterns (Reverse Plain Dutch, Broad Mesh Twill and Single Plain Weave). Dutch Twill Weave is provided for the most comprehensive selection of surface filtration duties. ZHUAN LV PM series filter cartridge is available in 316L stainless steel as standard with other alloys such as 304L stainless steel,Inconel and Monel on request.
Sintered Mesh Filter Cartridges
Sintered Mesh Filter Cartridges are made by overlapping multiple layers of wire mesh and sintering them in a vacuum furnace, rolled into a cylinder and welded together at both ends. For the roundness and flatness of the whole structure, roll seam welding process is added. Its interlaced mesh forms a rigid structure, which overcomes the shortcomings of ordinary wire mesh of low strength and unstable pore shape, and is also superior to sintered powder cartridges, ceramic cartridges and so on. Most importantly, this stainless steel filter cartridge is popular in many industries such as food, environmental protection, chemical industry, aerospace and so on with its outstanding features such as high temperature resistance, smooth wire holes, good air permeability, and strong dirt-holding capacity.
