Hydroxyethyl Cellulose
ZONEHIBTM HEC is a natural polymer material cellulose as raw material, which reacts with sodium hydroxide to form basic cellulose colloid, and then the ethylene oxide and other chemicals are added into the reaction to get etherification. By controlling the production parameters, the Hydroxyethyl cellulose is produced.
It is a white or light yellow powder, non-toxic, tasteless, can be quickly dissolved into hot or cool water, insoluble in general organic solvent, with excellent character of thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, adhesion, stabilizing, water retention and film forming. Also can be used as a protective colloid in some products.
Paints & Coatings: HEC can be used in water-based coatings with excellent emulsification, dispersion speed, stability and water retention, which can help paints and coatings achieve better rheological properties at different shear rates, giving your products smooth leveling, good anti-flaking and anti-slip properties.
Daily Chemicals: HEC is an effective film former, binder, thickener, stabilizer and dispersant in shampoo, hair spray, neutralizer, conditioner and cosmetics. Its thickening and protective colloid properties can be used in liquid detergent and solid detergent industries.
Environmentally Friendly Materials: Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is naturally degradable and environmentally friendly. It is safe to use with no irritation to human skin, though it's important to avoid inhalation of dust and direct contact with eyes. Due to its versatility and wide range of applications, HEC holds significant value in both industrial and everyday contexts.
Oil and Gas Exploration: Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a critical component used as a viscosity enhancer in drilling fluids, playing a vital role in oil and gas exploration.
Pharmaceuticals: Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is used in pharmaceuticals as an adhesive, film coating, and in controlled release formulations.
Food: HEC plays an important role in the food industry as a thickener and stabilizer for various foods. It is commonly used in sauces, dressings, puddings and baked fillings to achieve the desired viscosity and texture.
Paper: HEC can be used as a glazing agent for paper and cardboard and a protective glue for ink. It has the advantage of not being affected by the size of the paper during printing and can print high-quality images. At the same time, due to its low surface permeability and high gloss, it can also reduce costs.
Redispersible Polymer Powder
ZONEHIBTM RDP belongs to the emulsion powder of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer which can be dispersed in water, it has an excellent flexibility, strong plasticity and abrasion resistance properties and strong transformation ability so as to increase the adhesive strength between mortar and common support and improve the mortarâ??s mechanical performance. In the polymer cement mortar, it can increase the materials anti-bending and anti-tension properties. Therefore, it has excellent anti-crack performance, which can prevent the materials from cracking effectively.
