BBO Crystal (Beta-Barium Borate Crystal)
BBO crystal is an important nonlinear optical crystal with combination of unique optical properties. Broad transmission and phase matching ranges, large nonlinear coefficient, high damage threshold and excellent optical homogeneity provide attractive possibilities for various nonlinear optical applications.

LBO crystals is an excellent nonlinear crystal. For frequency doubling(SHG),tripling(THG) of Nd:YAG,Nd:YLF,Nd:YVO4 lasers, it is one of the most useful nonlinear optical materials in ultraviolet and visible laser applications.
Advantages:
broad transparency range from 160nm to 2600nm (see Figure 1);
high optical homogeneity (n10-6/cm) and being free of inclusion;
relatively large effective SHG coefficient (about three times that of KDP);
wide acceptance angle and small walk-off;
type I and type II non-critical phase matching (NCPM) in a wide wavelength range;
spectral NCPM near 1300nm.
high damage threshold(18.9 GW/cm 2 for a 1.3ns laser at 1053nm);
LBO has the highest damage threshold in all the commonly-used inorganic NLO crystals. Therefore, it is the best candidate for high average power SHG and other nonlinear optical processes.

Principle / Application /4 Waveplate
UPT quarter waveplates create a quarter-wavelength phase shift (�?/2, 90°) and can convert linear polarization to circular polarization and vice versa. They are often used with a linear polarizer to form an isolator, blocking light reflected back from other surfaces (ellipsometry, optical pumping, isolation).
Principle / Application /2 Waveplate
UPT half waveplates retard one polarization direction by half a wavelength (, 180°), effectively changing the direction of linear polarization, depending on the orientation of incident linear polarization with respect to the crystal axis. Therefor they can be used as continuously adjustable polarization rotators e.g. in electro optical modulation or as a variable beam splitter when used in combination with a polarizing beam splitter.

Plano-Convex Lens

Positive focus length. Most suitable where one conjugate is more than five times the other, e.g. in sensor applications or for use with near collimated light. Also where both conjugates are on the same side of the lens, e.g. as an add-on lens to increase the numerical aperture.

Corner Cube Prism is also called Retroreflector or Trihedral Prism. In the Corner Cube Prism, three reflecting surfaces are perpendicular to each other, like the side wall of the cube. The input surface is perpendicular to the cube diagonal. Disregarding the angle of incidence, the output beam is parallel to the input one, but it is of opposite direction. Inset of the several corner prisms, for better matching, their entrance-exit surface is often hexagonal. In case of this prism the phenomenon of full internal reflection occurs so it is not necessary, (however it is possible) to put mirror coating on the reflecting faces. Normally the reflection surfaces are Al reflection coating, and then covered with Cu and Black Painting.

Wollaston Polarizers
