Formwork Solutions
Concrete is one of the most versatile and widely used building materials in the world. It is used to build a variety of structures, from skyscrapers and bridges to monuments and dams. However, concrete cannot stand alone. It must be poured into a specific type of mold. This is where templates come in.
What is formwork?
Formwork is a mold for pouring and shaping fresh concrete. Formwork, which can be permanent or temporary, holds poured concrete and shapes it until it sets and becomes strong enough to support itself and other loads.
Formwork is also called "shuttering". However, in some parts of the world, formwork refers to the use of plywood or wood to create molds.
Formwork systems can be classified based on the following parameters:
Type of material used to make the mold (plastic, steel, wood, aluminum)
Types of concrete structures it supports (slabs, columns, walls)
At Zolo, we have invested time and effort into creating superior and reliable wall formwork systems. Through our products, we aim to provide formwork solutions as well as bracing and support systems that enable developers to complete a wide range of construction projects quickly, safely and efficiently.
We offer a comprehensive range of heavy-duty and light-duty wall formwork systems for the development of concrete walls of all shapes and sizes. We also offer formwork solutions for curved walls and columns, making it easy to build infrastructure and construction projects with unique geometries. Whatever formwork you need to build walls with a consistent, high-quality concrete finish, you'll find it at Zolo.
Column forms are a type of concrete formwork. Concrete forms are molds made of steel, aluminum, wood, plastic, or other materials in which wet concrete is poured to achieve the desired shape and size for construction. Once the concrete has set, the forms are usually removed, although permanent forms still exist as part of the construction.
The shape and size of the column formwork depends on the needs of the project. To aid in quality control during the pouring phase using a column formwork, a horizontal jig made of steel or wood is often used in conjunction with a column mold. The head of the column formwork is often used to support the beam formwork or to cast the column formwork into the bottom side of the beam. The use of column formwork in combination with beam formwork allows for fast and precise construction.
Modern climbing formwork systems consist of large wall forms mounted on climbing scaffolds. As part of the first concrete pour, the climbing supports are attached to pre-set anchor bolts. This ensures the transfer of wind and constant loads from the wall formwork and supports. The formwork also used two climbing brackets to create a working platform to align and support the panels.
After pouring the concrete, the lifting boots and screws were installed. Both the climbing platform and the formwork were then lifted to a new suspension point for the next pouring cycle.
Overview
With the increasing awareness of environmental protection and sustainable development, the concrete construction site is also an urgent need for a kind of environmentally friendly, reusable, easy-to-operate building formwork to replace the traditional wooden formwork and steel formwork, ZPLASTKâ?¢80 Modular Plastic Formwork with the help of ABS plastic is unique high-strength, low weight, environmentally friendly features, it already start a new era of construction.
ZPLASTKâ?¢80 Modular Plastic Formwork is one type of rapid, handy, modular and economical solution for concrete slabs, columns and walls. It can make your job easy.
Features
1. Various size specifications, flexible combination to adapt to different concrete structures
2. The slab and wall can be cast in a single pour.
3. The weight of the largest size formwork panel is about 11 kilograms, which can be easily handled by workers. The panels are simply connected by locking handles so that they can be operated by ordinary workers without the need for skilled workers, which greatly improves construction efficiency and reduces labor costs.
4. The concrete surface can reach the level of fair-faced concrete, with precise dimensions, verticality and flatness greatly superior to that of wooden formwork and steel formwork, saving the cost of secondary plastering.
5. The formwork is completely waterproof, resistant to moisture, does not swell, and does not deform at high temperatures.
6.Under normal use, it can be in circle use at least 100 times.

Formwork Frames
1ã??Aluminum
If you desire a formwork frame that matches the strength, durability, and reliability of steel but without the weight, aluminum emerges as an excellent choice. Its lightweight nature and non-hygroscopic properties prevent warping or shrinking. Moreover, its reusability factor allows for multiple applications, enabling you to curtail construction expenses while optimizing cost-effectiveness.
Beyond these core benefits, employing aluminum formwork frames yields additional advantages:
Accelerated Construction: Aluminum's lightweight composition, coupled with minimal crane dependency, expedites construction projects. This acceleration translates to time and labor savings, ultimately reducing overall costs.
Enhanced Surface Protection: Aluminum formwork frames can be powder-coated, creating a surface that is resistant to impacts and scratches. This feature ensures durability and facilitates easy cleaning.
Cost-Effective for Symmetrical Structures: Particularly advantageous for projects involving numerous symmetrical structures, aluminum formwork provides a cost-effective solution.
Facilitates Quick Assembly: The inclusion of welding nuts allows for the swift and straightforward assembly of accessories such as brackets and guardrails.
Reusability and Maintenance: Aluminum formwork can be repaired and refurbished multiple times, contributing to its longevity and cost-effectiveness. Its low adhesion to concrete compared to other materials further enhances its usability.
