Butter Paper

Butter paper isa non-sticky cellulose-based paper that is used in baking as a disposable non-stick surface. Also known as bakery paper, baking paper or grease-proof paper, it is smooth, heat resistant, non-stick and has very low water absorption.Parchment paper, baking paper, or bakery release paper is cellulose-based paper that has been treated or coated to make it non-stick. It is used in baking as a disposable non-stick surface. It should not be confused with wax paper or waxed paper, which is paper that has been coated in wax.A common use is to eliminate the need to grease sheet pans and the like, allowing very rapid turn-around of batches of baked goods. Parchment paper is also used to cook en papillote, a technique where food is steamed or cooked within closed pouches made from parchment paper.
Bakery paper can be used in most applications that call for wax paper as a non-stick surface. The reverse is not true, as using wax paper will cause smoke in the oven and affect taste.

Cardstock

To put it simply, cardstock is a thicker and more durable type of paper. It is more flexible and thinner than paperboard and cardboard, making it perfect for arts and crafts. Since it is heavier and sturdier than standard or regular paper, it is also the best choice for paper crafting and card making.
Card stock is often used for business cards, postcards, playing cards, catalogue covers, scrapbooking, and other applications requiring more durability than regular paper gives. The surface usually is smooth; it may be textured, metallic, or glossy. When card stock is labeled cover stock, it often has a glossy coating on one or both sides (C1S or C2S, for "coated: one side" or "coated: two sides"); this is used especially in business cards and book covers

Coated & Uncoated Papers

Coated papers are papers that are coated with glossy, semi-gloss, or matte finishes. All Blurb photo book and both magazine papers are coated, except our Mohawk Superfine Eggshell photo book paper (formerly called Proline Uncoated). A paper does not have to beglossy to be considered coated. Coated paper has an agent added to its surface in order to improve brightness, smoothness, or other printing properties. Once coating is applied to the paper, rollers help to polish the paper. It fills in the tiny pits and spaces between the fibers, giving it a smooth, flat surface.
Uncoated paper does not have a coating to fill in between the fibers. It is generally rougher than coated paper and tends to be more porous, which makes it very absorbent. Images printed on uncoated paper will be softer and less crisp. Uncoated papers are great options for novels or books that you will be writing in. All of Blurb's Trade Books are printed on uncoated paper. The rough texture of uncoated paper is a great option for some art books too. Our beautiful Mohawk Superfine Eggshell paper (formerly called Proline Uncoated) is our one uncoated photo book paper, which will make for a stunning presentation of artwork.

Because of the outstanding paper stiffness, which is strong support for the box die-cutting process, and laminating hot stamping results. Also, it could be used for making containers to pack wine and liquor packaging. The uncoated duplex board always be wrapped with art paper and specialty paper to build rigid boxes with fantastic artwork printing.
Duplex paperboard is made from 100% recycled paper material, eco-friendly. In the food industry, due to hygiene reasons, the ordinary duplex cardboard is not made from recycled paper; however, sometimes waste paper is used if the paperboard is designated for other purposes.

Packing Paper

Paper packaging can e.g. be made of parchment paper or have the shape of bags to package loose foods. Cartonboard is commonly used for e.g. liquid and dry foods, frozen foods and fast food. Corrugated board finds broad application in direct contact with food (e.g. pizza boxes) and as secondary packaging.
Paper packaging is a packaging product made of paper material quite popular on the market today. This type of packaging is used to pack, store and transport goods, helping to store and protect the product inside due to the impact of transportation. Currently, this type of packaging is interested in investing in designing new and beautiful models and adding branding functions.
Paper-based packaging â?? products like cardboard, paperboard, shipping sacks, and paper bags â?? is made from renewable resources (recycled paper fiber and trees) that are replanted to ensure a sustainable supply. These products are also the most-recycled materials, by weight, in the United States

Paper Bags

A paper bag is a bag made of paper, usually kraft paper. Paper bags can be made either with virgin or recycled fibres to meet customers demands. Paper bags are commonly used as shopping carrier bags and for packaging of some consumer goods. They carry a wide range of products from groceries, glass bottles, clothing, books, toiletries, electronics and various other goods and can also function as means of transport in day-to-day activities.
Paper bags are highly biodegradable and recyclable, and hence does not pose the same environmental footprint as plastic bags do. The fibres are reused 3.6 times on average in Europe, while the world average is 2.4 times. Plastic or water-resistant coatings or layers make recycling more difficult. Paper bag recycling is done through the re-pulping of the paper recycling and pressing into the required shapes.

Kappa Board

Paperboard is a thick paper-based material. While there is no rigid differentiation between paper and paperboard, paperboard is generally thicker (usually over 0.30 mm, 0.012 in, or 12 points) than paper and has certain superior attributes such as foldability and rigidity. According to ISO standards, paperboard is a paper with a grammage above 250 g/m2, but there are exceptions. Paperboard can be single- or multi-ply.
Paperboard can be easily cut and formed, is lightweight, and because it is strong, is used in packaging. Another end-use is high quality graphic printing, such as book and magazine covers or postcards. Paperboard is also used in fine arts for creating sculptures. Sometimes it is referred to as cardboard, which is a generic, lay term used to refer to any heavy paper pulpbased board, however this usage is deprecated in the paper, printing and packaging industries as it does not adequately describe each product type.

Crap Paper

Crap paper is tissue paper that has been coated with sizing (a glue-like substance). It can then be creased in a way similar to party streamers to create gathers, giving it a crinkly texture like that of crap. Crap paper is important as the backing for various types of tape, including masking tape and electrical tape. Can be used in place of corn husks to make tamales. In the former Soviet Union, undyed, unbleached crap paper was widely used for toilet paper.
Crap, also spelled crape, French pancake made of a thin batter containing flour, eggs, melted butter, salt, milk, water, and, if the craps are to be served with a sweet sauce or garnish, sugar. Craps can be filled with a variety of sweet or savoury mixtures

Construction Paper

Construction paper, also known as sugar paper, is coloured cardstock paper. The texture is slightly rough, and the surface is unfinished. Due to the source material, mainly wood pulp, small particles are visible on the paper's surface. It is used for projects or crafts. The etymology of "sugar paper" lies in its use for making bags to contain sugar. It is related to the "blue paper" used by confectionery bakers in England from the 17th century onwards; for example, in the baking of Regency ratafia cakes (or macaroons).
Construction paper is great for a variety of activities, including arts and craft projects like flower-making, decorating placemats, and making props. If you're a crafts fanatic like us, you'll probably already know how useful and fun these sheets can be.
Construction paper is colored cardstock paper. Since it is mainly wood pulp, the paper's surface is slightly rough and unfinished. This has been one of the very first craft paper used for different projects
