Cleaning Instructions
1. Remove any apparent dry debris from the pockets with caution. You can either shake out any loose particles by hand or by setting the filter (pockets-up) over a big garbage can and lightly smacking the outside of the pockets with your hand.
2. Spray water through the exterior of the pockets with a low-pressure faucet or garden hose so that it drains into the middle and out of the pockets at the frame opening. Repeat until it's clean.
3. Allow the filter to completely drain of all water. The filter shouldn't be put back in until it is totally dry.
4. Detergent is not needed.

Principle
The air is drawn in using the fan (motor + impeller) inside the filter unit of the FFU fan. The absorbed air is filtered by the HEPA (High Efficiency Filter) or ULPA (Ultra High Efficiency Filter) filter below the FFU to filter out the large particles of dust in the air, and finally the fresh air is sent to the clean area at an even speed.
