Dragon Blood Powder/Resin is a type of powder-resin produced from Jernang fruit which comes from several species of rattan from the genus Daemonorops. Jernang fruit contains (11%) dracoresen, (2.5%) dracolban, (50%) resinolanol, and the remainder ester compents benzoic acid and benzolactic. Furthermore, because it contains polyphenolic components such as anthocyanin flavonoids, jernang functions as an antioxidant.
