PRODUCT RANGE

APPLICATION
The tension, suspension and jumper strings are used for OHL transmission lines with porcelain insulators, glass insulators or composite insulators.
Compression Splice/Mid Span Joint
For high voltage transmission lines, conductor bundles are used for each phase to fulfil electrical requirements. Spacing devices are installed on the bundles to maintain subconductor separation. Elastic and damping elements are introduced into the spacing devices for distributing the damping effect along the spans which prevents entrapment of vibration between Spacer Dampers and avoids bending stresses at the clamps.
Tronco Electric can make the design with the conductor specifications provided by clients.
Repair Sleeves
Repair sleeves are used where the strands of the overhead line conductor are broken. The conductor repair sleeve is simply compressed over the damaged section of the overhead line conductor.
The diameter and the length of the repair kits vary in order to suit the applicable overhead line conductor.

Vibration Damper
Vibrations will lead to internal conductor fatigue stress at suspension and tension fittings, applying compression and bending loads at conductor support points.

APPLICATION
Long rod insulators are used for suspension and tension towers for high voltage grids and railway grids. Composite post insulators are used for disconnector, switchgear and substation works. Tronco Electric can also make the design and supply the insulator strings.

STRUCTURE
Glass insulator consists of cast-iron cap, toughened glass body and pin which are agglutinated together by cement into an integrated piece. Cylindrical head has been adopted for insulators, which is the most advanced structure in the world with superiorities such as less dimension, lighter wieght, higher strength and longer creepage distance which can save metallic materials and reduce transmission line cost.
Most High-voltage lines use ball & socket type toughened glass insulator, which is also called cap & pin. Cross-section is as below. Tongue & Clevis assembly is also used for glass disc insulator.

APPLICATION
Glass insulators are applied in HV and Extra HV transmission lines as dielectric and use for suspending conductors.

DISC INSULATORS
Porcelain disc insulators are the most widely used in strings, they can be used for any voltage depending on the numberof units mounted in series for transmission and distribution lines.

Application
The insulators are designed to be suitable for different types of polluted zones and mechanical strength according to client's requrests. Life expectancy of these insulators are extremely high but may be adversely affected if operated beyond specified limits of electrical or mechanical stress.
STATION POST INSULATOR
the most comprehensive range of porcelain post insulators up to highest system voltages with the most progressive technology, engineering and life time. Short production time, tighter tolerances, flexible design, extra-high mechanical strength and extended creepage distances are possible by wet/dry process.
Voltage Range
IEC station post insulators manufacture in full accordance to IEC60273. Operating rod columns for disconnectors are manufactured corresponding to the relevant post insulators. Insulation requirements are available in ratings from BIL 60kV to 2550kV.
TR station post insulators manufacture in full accordance with ANSI C29.9. Insulation requirements are available in ratings from 95 kV to 2050 kV. Special requirements can be also offered upon request.
Standard
post insulators conforms to specifications of IEC 60273 and ANSI-C29.9.
Application
The post insulator up to 500kV can be used for switchgears, disconnectors and substations.
