Jasmine is a long-grain variety of fragrant rice (also known as aromatic rice). When cooked, the taste is smooth and soft, gentle and ethereal sweet blended with the aroma of jasmine. It's sticky but less sticky than glutinous. Average length is at 6.8mm and average width at 2.2mm, it looks big compared to other types of fragrant rice.
