Why I need it?
High relative humidity can cause significant, possibly irreparable damage to sensitive equipment, supplies, and products. To ensure dehydration measures work, humidity indicator cards measure the relative humidity (RH) inside sealed packages to allow immediate visual inspection of whether it has sustained unsafe humidity levels.
Why I need choose your product?
Existing humidity indicator cards found in the market are impregnated with a chemical called cobalt chloride In the dry state, cobalt chloride is blue in color. After absorbing moisture cobalt chloride changes to pink color. A recent amendment made to the European CEE directive 67-548 pertaining to the Classification, Packaging and Labeling of dangerous materials, has classified cobalt chloride as a carcinogenic material. Improper handling of items containing carcinogen may cause health hazards and environment hazards, thus, goods containing cobalt chloride will not meet EU standards.
Our new range of humidity indicator cards are carcinogen-free and meet EU standards and color change can be blue to pink, yellow to azure, blown to green.
Advantage:
Reversible
Competitive price
Bright color; high recognition
Meet ROHS, EU standards, SGS
A back film to prevent chemical to reverse to your products
Using environmentally friendly ink and moisture-sensitive chemical
Usage :
1. The humidity indicator spots will change from blue (dry condition) to pink (humidity condition) as the relative humidity changes in the volume of air surrounding the indicator.
2.Relative humidity is indicated at the lavender color.
3.Indicator spots will change within eight hours of being exposed to a change in relative humidity.
4.The humidity indicator spots are reversible, and the pink spots will change back to blue when the volume of air is dried. Humidity indicator cards with pink or lavender spots can be returned to a blue color by placing indicators in a sealed container with 33 grams (1 unit) of desiccant for four hours. However, we do not recommend reversing or using cards that have been exposed to high humidity in excess of 60 percent.
5.The highest humidity indicator spot should be blue before being put into use.
6.The humidity indicator will be at its most accurate at a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
7.Avoid contact with indicator spots. Wash any irritated areas with clean water.
Humidity Indicator Plugs are designed for mounting on reusable or long-term storage containers, in flexible barrier material, in moisture-sensitive electronic or optical equipment, or in any other humidity controlled enclosure. They readily detect changes in the relative humidity of the space being monitored by one of two means: Reversible Color-Change and Maximum Humidity Indicator.
A humidity indicator card (HIC) is a card on which a moisture-sensitive chemical is impregnated such that it will change color when the indicated relative humidity is exceeded.
