This product is an upgraded substitute of T561, a traditional thiadiazole derivative. The sulfur content is more than 33%. The metal deactivator TH561 is a yellow-brown transparent liquid prepared by complex oxidation coupling reaction, using thiadiazole and alkanethiol as raw materials and introducing S, N and other anti-wear heteroatoms into the main chain of macromolecule. Product uses:
1. MTT can be used as an efficient accelerator for chloroprene rubber. Compared with ETU, MTT maintained good physical properties and aging resistance of chloroprene vulcanized by ETU.
2. Chlorinated butyl rubber and natural rubber can be vulcanized by MTT, but the amount of natural rubber should not exceed 20%, and a higher amount of accelerator and a lower amount of magnesium oxide should be added.
3. Chlorinated butyl rubber and chloroprene rubber can be vulcanized effectively by MTT, so it is very suitable to use MTT to vulcanize them together.
4. The co-vulcanization of chlorinated butyl rubber (CBR) and natural rubber (NR) compounds is of particular significance to the tire industry. Good co-vulcanization bonding is required between the lining and matrix of CBR.
Advantage:
1. Compared with sulfur curing system, MTT can obtain excellent physical properties, lower compression set and heat generation, and excellent hot air aging properties in chlorobutyl rubber.
2. The hot air aging property of rubber products vulcanized by MTT is also better than that of resin vulcanization system. The product has a low melting point and is easy to disperse. It can be mixed efficiently even in an open smelter.
3. The scorching time and vulcanization time of MTT in chlorinated butyl rubber can be delayed by MBTS or CTP or accelerated by TMTD or ZDMC. It is not appropriate to use clay alone, but it can be used with carbon black. Silica is very easy to burn, whether it is used with carbon black or with carbon black.
4. In the blend of chlorinated butyl rubber and natural rubber, MTT vulcanization can be used if the content of natural rubber is not more than 20%. When blended with chloroprene rubber, it shows excellent vulcanization characteristics and maintains the unique advantages of MTT vulcanization system.
