The Semiconductor Optical Amplifier Devices at 1310nm and 1550nm are designed by using a high quality angled SOA chip and a TEC which can assure a stable amplified output for a large dynamic input signal.
The devices are available in a standard, 14-pin butterfly package at the 1310nm and 1550nm bands. The SOA devices have high optical gain, high saturation output power, low polarization dependent loss, low noise figure and broad wavelength range. We have options of optical isolators for input and/or output side as well as output fibers of SM fibers, PM fibers and other special fibers per customer specifications. The products are Telcordia GR-468 qualified, and in compliance with RoHS requirement.

The NLLD series directly modulated external cavity laser is cost effective solution for 2.5 Gbits/s digital transmission in SMF-28 fiber. This is fabricated in a hermetically sealed 14-pin butterfly package that contains thermoelectric cooler (TEC), thermistor, monitor photodiode, optical isolator.
The NLLD provides substantially lower dispersion penalty and lower chirp than a directly modulated DFB. The wavelength stability is assured by design, eliminating the need for wavelength lockers and complex feedback control circuits.

980nm pump module utilizes a planar construction with chip on subcarrier. The high power chip is hermetically sealed in a epoxy-free and flux-free 14-pin butterfly package and fitted with a thermistor, thermoelectric cooler, and monitor diode.
980nm pump module uses FBG stabilization to â??lockâ?? the emission wavelength. It provides a noise-free narrowband spectrum, even under changes in temperature, drive current, and optical feedback. Wavelength selection is available for applications that require the highest performance in spectrum control with the highest available powers.
