Medium power transformers with a power range from 40 to 250 mva and a voltage of over 72.5 kv are used as network and generator step-up transformers. Medium power transformers are also widely used to step up power from on- and offshore-windparks, and may even be installed in offshore-substations.
Bringing the energy safely to the consumer: a basic requirement applicable to all power transformers. However, every single one is unique designed according to individual factors such as voltage, power, climate, system topography, sound level and many more. Tinde power is your partner, who picks up these requirements converting them into convincing solutions with maximum quality. Power transformers that render their service reliably at site.
Large power transformers are in the power range above 250 MVA, generator and network intertie transformers with off-load or on-load tap changers, or a combination of both, are recommended. Depending on the on-site requirements, they can be designed as multiwinding transformers or autotransformers, in 3-phase or 1-phase versions. Even with ratings of more than 1,000 MVA and voltages up to 1,200 kV (800 kV), the feasibility limits have not yet been reached. We manufacture these units according to IEC 60076 as well as other international and national standards (e.g., ANSI/IEEE).
Generator step-up (GSU) transformers
GSU units transform the voltage up from the generator voltage level to the transmission voltage level, which may be as high as 1,200 kV system voltage. Such transformers are usually YNd-connected.
In order to make an inquiry regarding a GSU power transformer, the technical data for the items in this section are required.
Step-down transformers
Step-down transformers transform the voltage down from the transmission voltage level to an appropriate distribution voltage level. The power rating of step-down transformers may range up to the power rating of the transmission line.
System interconnecting transformers
System interconnecting transformers connect transmission
systems with different voltages together so that active as well as
reactive power can be exchanged between the systems.

The main advantages of aerial bundle cables include:
Ease of erection and stringing
Practically no tree-trimming required
Less maintenance
Relative immunity to short circuits caused by external forces (wind, fallen branches), unless they abrade the insulation.
At junction poles, insulating bridging wires are needed to connect non-insulated wires at either side. Abc can dispense with one of these splices.
Less risk of a neutral-only break from tree or vehicle damage, increasing safety with tnc-s systems. Electricity theft is made harder and more obvious to detect.

Stainless steel cable & stainless wire rope is highly corrosion resistant & decorative. Excellent for marine rope rigging, stainless steel cable railing, architectural cables, cable balustrades and cable display systems.
Stretch is a characteristic of all wire ropes; constructional stretch initially
Steel wires for wire ropes are normally made of non-alloy carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.4 to 0.95%. The very high strength of the rope wires enables wire ropes to support large tensile forces and to run over sheaves with relatively small diameters.
In the so-called cross lay strands, the wires of the different layers cross each other. In the mostly used parallel lay strands, the lay length of all the wire layers is equal and the wires of any two superimposed layers are parallel, resulting in linear contact. The wire of the outer layer is supported by two wires of the inner layer. These wires are neighbours along the whole length of the strand. Parallel lay strands are made in one operation. The endurance of wire ropes with this kind of strand is always much greater than of those (seldom used) with cross lay strands. Parallel lay strands with two wire layers have the construction filler, seale or warrington.
We offer an extensive range of stainless steel wire & cable. In 1x19, 7x7 and 7x19 constructions in aisi 316 marine grade stainless steel. Sizes 1.5mm to 19mm.
Capacity:2000ton/month
Prestressed concrete uses much less materials than reinforced concrete: savings can reach 40% of the overall mass longer spans, thinner and lighter parts allow a reduction in number of piles, height of buildings, consumption of energy in freight and handling, therefore co2 emissions.
Low relaxation ensures that no noticeable loss of tension will occur in time, therefore a long lasting compressive force on concrete.
Deviated tension is current in post-tensioned structures, stay-cables and even some prefabrication methods. By strict adherence to manufacturing processes and routine destructive tests, our products exceed standard requirements.
Stress corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement are known to be a threat for high-tensile structural steels, especially in environments containing chlorides.
We manufacture pc strand wire in a 3 or 7-strand configuration in both stress relieved and low relaxation grades. Diameters range from 3/8" (9.53 mm) to .600" (15.24 mm).
Prestressing wire and strands are used in bridges, cryogenic storage, industrial, commercial and residential buildings where safety is critical.

Aluminum Conductor Steel Supported (ACSS) is a composite concentric-lay stranded conductor with one or more layers of hard drawn and annealed 1350-0 aluminum wires on a central core of steel. In an ACSS, under normal operating conditions, the mechanical load is mainly derived from the steel core as aluminum in fully annealed stage does not contribute much towards the mechanical strength. Steel core wires are protected from corrosion by selecting an appropriate coating of the wire like galvanizing, mischmetal alloy coating or aluminum clad. The type of coating is selected to suit the environment to which the conductor is exposed and operating temperature of the conductor.

In electric power distribution, a service drop is an overhead electrical line running from a utility pole, to a customer's building or other premises.
It is the point where electric utilities provide power to their customers.
The insulated conductors of service drop cables are resistant to weathering, sunlight, abrasion, tearing, cutting and chemicals. This cable is rated at 600 volts with a maximum conductor operating temperature of 90°C for cross-linked polyethylene insulation.
Ease of erection and stringing
Practically no tree-trimming required
Less maintenance
Relative immunity to short circuits caused by external forces (wind, fallen branches), unless they abrade the insulation.
STANDARD:IEC60502, SANS1418
VOLTAGE:600/1000V
CAPACITY:5000km/week
CONSTRUCTION
The aerial bundle cables for overhead distribution lines have an insulated or bare neutral messenger made of AAAC, which the insulated aluminum phase conductors are helically wound over it. Cables are rated at 0.6/1kV and conform to IEC 60502 or SANS1418.
1.Phase Conductor
The phase conductors shall be of H68 Condition aluminum conductor and circular stranded.
2.Messenger Conductor
The neutral messenger conductor shall be of aluminum alloy conductor and circular stranded.
3.Street Lighting Conductor (optional)
The street lighting conductors shall be of H68 Condition aluminum conductor and circular stranded.
4.Insulation
The phase, messenger and street lighting conductors shall be extruded with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) as insulation.
5.The Completed Cable
The cable consists of insulated phase and street lighting aluminum conductors, shall be held firmly onto the neutral messenger aluminum alloy conductor in a right-hand(Z) direction of lay.
Standard:astm b230, b231, b232, b399, icea s-61-402 and s-66-52, voltage:600/1000v, capacity:10000km/week, the product is used primarily for, but not limited to, overhead secondary distribution lines. Installed on insulators, otherwise treated as a bare conductor., ease of erection and stringing, practically no tree-trimming required, less maintenance, relative immunity to short circuits caused by external forces (wind, fallen branches), unless they abrade the insulation., , aluminum alloy 1350-h19, 6201, or acsr conductors, concentrically stranded, covered with polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene (xlpe). The covering provides circuit protection against momentary contact with other conductors or trees. Because the covering carries no voltage rating, the conductors must be installed on insulators adequate for the intended service voltage. The user should consider the dielectric compatibility of the covering, insulator and conductor/insulator tie., 1.Conductors are available in the following constructions:, aluminum conductor, steel reinforced (acsr), concentric-lay stranded, aluminum alloy 1350-h19 hard-drawn, concentric-lay stranded, medium hard-drawn copper, solid or concentric-lay-stranded, 2.Covering material
