Pillow block bearings are a form of mounted bearing used to provide load support for a rotating shaft axis. The bearing housing mounts to a surface parallel to the shaft axis. Selection of the appropriate bearings can be accomplished based on the shaft size and the radial and thrust load requirements. Pillow block bearings are designed to support a shaft: the mounting surface is on a parallel line with the axis of the shaft. Elongated bolt holes in the base or feet of the unit allow for some adjustment and easy mounting of the pillow block bearing
Tapered roller bearings are separable and have the following components: outer ring, inner ring, and roller assembly (containing the rollers and a cage). The non-separable inner ring and roller assembly is called the cone, and the outer ring is called the cup. Internal clearance is established during mounting by the axial position of the cone relative to the cup.
A spherical bearing is a bearing that permits angular rotation about a central point in two orthogonal directions (usually within a specified angular limit based on the bearing geometry). Typically these bearings support a rotating shaft in the [bore] of the inner ring that must move not only rotationally, but also at an angle.
Product Specification
The inner and outer ring raceways are segments of cones and the rollers are also made with a taper so that the conical surfaces of the raceways and the roller axes if projected, would all meet at a common point on the main axis of the bearing.>
This conical geometry is used as it gives a larger contact patch, which permits greater loads to be carried than with spherical (ball) bearings, while the geometry means that the tangential speeds of the surfaces of each of the rollers are the same as their raceways along the whole length of the contact patch and no differential scrubbing occurs. When a roller slides rather than rolls, it can generate wear at the roller-to-race interface, i.e. the differences in surface speeds creates a scrubbing action. Wear will degenerate the close tolerances normally held in the bearing and can lead to other problems. Much closer to pure rolling can be achieved in a tapered roller bearing and this avoids rapid wear.
The rollers are guided by a flange on the inner ring. This stops the rollers from sliding out at high speed due to their momentum.
The larger the half angles of these cones the larger the axial force that the bearing can sustain.

A ball bearing is a type of rolling-element bearing that uses balls to maintain the separation between the bearing races.
The purpose of a ball bearing is to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. It achieves this by using at least two races to contain the balls and transmit the loads through the balls. In most applications, one race is stationary and the other is attached to the rotating assembly (e.g., a hub or shaft). As one of the bearing races rotates it causes the balls to rotate as well. Because the balls are rolling they have a much lower coefficient of friction than if two flat surfaces were sliding against each other.
Ball bearings tend to have lower load capacity for their size than other kinds of rolling-element bearings due to the smaller contact area between the balls and races. However, they can tolerate some misalignment of the inner and outer races.
MBP use improved ball quality to so to provide noise free bearings and smooth running
MBP ball bearings have an optimized surface finish on all the contact surfaces to provide the sufficient lubrications this allows the bearings to run cooler and last longer
Product Specification
Cylindrical roller bearings offer excellent resistance to instantaneous overloads and shocks.
They simplify assembly thanks to their detachable elements and allow, for certain types, axial displacement or low axial load, for other types.
Product Specification
A thrust bearing is a particular type of rotary bearing. Like other rotary bearings they permit rotation between parts, but they are designed to support a high axial load while doing this (parallel to the shaft). Different kinds of thrust bearings are used to support different amounts of axial load. Thrust ball bearings are used in applications that use little axial load, where a ring supports ball bearings. Spherical roller thrust bearings are used in applications that require high axial load, and can also support shafts that are out of alignment. Thrust bearings are used in higher speed applications that require oil lubrication, such as in the automotive and aerospace industries. Generally, thrust bearings are composed of two washers (raceways) in which those for ball bearings may be grooved, and the rolling elements.
Thrust Bearings Product Line
Thrust bearings come in several varieties including:
Ball Thrust Bearings - Composed of ball bearings supported in a ring, can be used in lower thrust applications where there is little radial load. Washers may be flat or grooved. Miniature thrust bearings starting with bores as small as 2 mm but as large as 340 mm.
Roller Thrust Bearings - Composed of cylindrical rolling elements, Roller thrust bearings have higher load carrying capacities then equally sized ball thrust bearings. Washers are typically flat (not grooved). Small roller thrust bearings start at 45 mm bores.
The entire basic steering assembly is called a Triple Tree, Triple Clamp, Steering Head, Steering Head Yoke, or Steering Stem. Up until around 1985 most, but not all, bikes used loose ball bearings for their steering races. These bearings have upper and lower outer races that are a tight press fit in the frame and a lower inner race that is press fitted to the steering stem. The upper inner race is a loose fit.
A universal joint is a joint or coupling in a rigid rod that allows the rod to bend in any direction, and is commonly used in shafts that transmit rotary motion. It consists of a pair of hinges located close together.
Centre Bearing is specially designed for propeller shaft applications in heavy commercial vehicles. These bearings are fitted with two heavy-duty long spring loaded life oil seal on both sides which prevent the bearings from external contamination like mud, water and moisture. At the same time these bearings show excellent capability in retaining grease. Bearings and oil seals are assembled in a phosphatised coated cup which has excellent resistance to rust, corrosion and moisture and provide maximum mileage to vehicles.
A needle roller bearing is a bearing which uses small cylindrical rollers. The difference of a needle roller bearing and roller bearing is the ratio of diameter and length of their rollers, when the ratio of the diameter and the length of roller of a roller bearing is between the interval of 0.4 to 0.1, that roller bearing is called as needle roller bearing. They are used to reduce friction of a rotating surface.
Needle bearings have a large surface area that is in contact with the bearing outer surfaces compared to ball bearings. Additionally there is less added clearance so they are much more compact. The typical structure consists of a needle cage which orients and contains the needle rollers, the needle rollers themselves, and an outer race
Needle bearings are heavily used in automobile components such as rocker arm pivots, pumps, compressors, and transmissions. The drive shaft of a rear-wheel drive vehicle typically has at least eight needle bearings (four in each U joint) and often more if it is particularly long, or operates on steep slopes.

Water pump bearing seals are specifically designed for water pump applications.
The water pump is the heart of the automotive cooling system, typically a belt-driven centrifugal pump. The pump circulates coolant throughout the system while the engine is running. If the drive belt fails, the water pump will not function. It is one of the reasons itâ??s so important to always check the status of the belt during maintenance.
The water pump uses centrifugal force to send coolant to the outside while it spins, drawing coolant from the centre continuously. The pump inlet is located close to the centre so that coolant returning from the radiator strikes the pump vanes, which then fling the coolant to the outside of the pump to enter the engine. Coolant leaving the pump first flows through the engine block and cylinder head, then through the radiator and finally back to the pump.
Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls and a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. The bearings are insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing.
Self-aligning ball bearings generate less friction than any other type of rolling bearing, which enables them to run cooler even at high speeds.
Self-aligning ball bearings are double row, self-retaining units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, inner rings with a cylindrical or tapered bore and ball and cage assemblies. The bearings are available in open and sealed versions.
We have started production of Plummer Blocks & Sleeves and dared to maintain a good quality at reasonable price range when the market was guided by low price level with worst quality product & some time the user had to us the sub-standard product unwillingly because the quality product was out of his budget. We had tried for a middle path. So that the customers can get quality product within their budget.
