Bop remote control system
Bop remote control system is special equipment, which is used to control bop, hydraulic chock, kill system and diverter equipment, and indispensable equipment for blowout preventer during drilling or workover in petroleum and natural gas industry.
The function of the bop remote control system for surface mounted bop stacks is preparing and prestoring enough hydraulic oil and controlling its flow direction, in order to open or close bop quickly. As the hydraulic oil used, the pressure drops down, when the pressure lowers to a certain value, the bop remote constrol system will renew the hydraulic oil automatically, to keep the pressure in a certain high value.
Ram bop specifications
1) according to the number of ram installed in each set, ram bop can be divided into: single ram, double ram and three ram bop, which are respectively installed with one ram, two rams or three rams.
2) according to the ram opening and closing method, ram bop can be divided into manual locking and hydraulic locking.
3) according to the different opening and closing method of bonnet, ram bop can be divided into two forms: rotating bonnet ram bop and linear bonnet ram bop. For the rotating bonnet ram bop, when opening or closing bonnet, the bonnet rotates on the hinge sear fastened on the body, the ram cam cavity shape of such bop is rectangle.
4) for the linear bonnet ram bop, when opening or closing bonnet, the bonnet makes linear motion along the two bonnet opening and closing plunger rods fastened on the body, the ram cavity shape of such bop is elliptic.
4145h api 7-1 drill collars are made of modified aisi 4145h chromium molybdenum alloy steel. These drill collar bars are full-length heat treated and water quenched to obtain astm a-370 mechanical properties. Full mechanical and chemical mill test certifications are supplied with all drill collars. These mill test certifications guarantee a hardness range of 285 to 341 bhn and an impact value of 40 ft.-lbs. At room temperature one inch below the surface.
To ensure close tolerance bores, all drill collar bars are trepanned then drifted to api specifications. Bar surface finish is “as rolled” which is original mill finish.
Connections:
All connections are precision-machined to api specifications. Api relief groove pin and bore back box stress relief are available on request. Thread roots are cold-worked to offer a greater resistance to fatigue. All connections are phosphated to minimize galling during makeup and applied with thread storage compound. Thread protectors are installed to ensure adequate joint protection during shipment.

Float Collar is run in a casing assembly, usually several joints above the Float Shoe. It serves as an extra back pressure valve sealing against pressures from blow while running the assembly and after the cementing job. Internal latch and valve are readily drillable.
