Split sets rock bolt is used together with dome plate and net for reliable ground support in mines, tunnels, slopes, or wherever .
1.Features :
(1)split sets bolt is made from high strength steel tube that is a slotted steel tube, with one end tapered tip for easy insertion into a drill hole. The other end has a welded ring for holding the bearing plate. A ring, or collar, is welded on the outer end to hold a domed plate to the rock surface.
(2)the bolt is inserted into a hole slightly , the diameter of hole is smaller than the tube. When drive the rock bolt into the hole, the tube of bolt is compressed and the slot is partially closed , that make the strata and the bolt be a whole body, .All strain of bolt wiill support to the strata tightly. When surrounding rock is shaked by explosion, anchor capacity increasesed higher and supporting effect is perfect.

2. Recommended hole diameter calculation:
(1) in the rock stratum : a diameter of hole: (0.9-0.95) diameter of bolt
Depth of hole: length of bolt +100mm
Deflection rate of drilling : <1%
(2)in the coal stratum:
Diameter of hole: (0.9-1.00) diameter of bolt
Depth of hole: length of bolt +200mm
Deflection rate of drilling : <1.5%

How to work
Slit wedge rock bolt has five parts : wedge, rod, plate, spherical washer and nut .One end of high strength of rod has a cross slit , swedge can be inserted in , the other end has thread for hold plate , washer , and nut . After drilling the borehole , insert swedge into slit and install other accessories , push the whole rock bolt into the end of borehole, drive external end hard so that wedge can expand cross slit , causing large pressure between interior end and strata . The bolt can be used with cement paste or cement plaster for permanent support .
