The most commonly used non-ferrous metals are copper, lead, zinc, nickel, cobalt, and precious metals. Millions of tonnes of nonferrous scrap are recovered annually and used by different types of industries. Secondary materials are essential to the industry’s survival because even new metals often require the combined use of recycled materials.
Shall consist of clean sound Muntz metal tubing which may be plated or unplated, free of nickel alloy, aluminum alloy, and corroded material. Shall have a copper content of not less than 55%, a lead content of not more than 1%, and shall be free of aluminum bronze and silicon bronze.
