Copra meal is produced from the ripe fruit of the coconut palm. The nut is split and the kernel is removed and dried below 6% moisture. This meal is called copra meal and still contains the oil. It is an excellent weight gain feed that can be used to boost any premix feed.

Copra meal is the by-product of the mechanical extraction of the copra. It has a sweet coconut aroma and is brown in color.
