Palm Acid Oil (PAO) is a by-product of the palm oil factory refining process. It contains a high Free Fatty Acid (FFA) content, up to 20-50%, and is typically collected from the effluent of the palm oil production process. POME is always regarded as a highly polluting wastewater generated from palm oil mills. This effluent could be used for biogas production through anaerobic digestion.

Palm Acid Oil (PAO)/Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) is a side-product of the palm oil refining process. Most of the content is dominated by the FFA (above 50%) and neutral oil, with 2-3% softness and other residues. The primary use of PAO is as a basic material for biofuels, animal feed mixtures, soap-making materials, and for the production of distilled fatty acids. we can supply up to 1500 MT/month from Riau , Indonesia.
