Phenylethyl Resorcinol is served as a newly lightening and brightening ingredient in skin care products with better stability and security, which is widely used in whitening, freckle removing and anti-aging cosmetics.

1. It has an outstanding whitening effect to skin. It is reported that it is one of the highest active tyrosine kinase inhibitors, which is 22 times higher than Kojic acid.
2. It is an antioxidant that is considered effective in influencing the formation of pigmentation, B16V, which is 210 times better than Kojic acid and 32 times than Arbutin. It could balance skin color and relieve the chromatosis caused by ultraviolet.
3. It served as an anti-oxidant agent with better performance, which is better than VE/VC/BHT

Dithiocyanate methane, also known as methyl dithiocyanate, seed soaking spirit, and methylene dithiocyanate, is abbreviated as MBT. Light yellow or nearly colorless needle-like crystals. Molecular weight: 130.2, relative density (20â??) : 1.1�±0.1, m.p. : 102-104â??, Flash point: 53â??. It is almost insoluble in water, with a solubility of 2.3�?10-6 in water at room temperature. So when in use, some special dispersants and penetrants are usually added. It is soluble in dioxane, dimethylformamide, etc., and slightly soluble in other organic solvents. MBT is very stable in the pH range of 6 to 6.5, but it will hydrolyze rapidly when the pH reaches 8. Under pressure, an excess of sodium thiocyanate (or sodium thiocyanate) and dichloromethane are added to the reactor, and the stirring is started. At the same time, the temperature is raised to 80-100. After the reaction is completed, dichloromethane is recovered, and the solid and liquid phases are separated to obtain crude dithiocyanate methane.
