Athena is the latest addition to Campagnolo's 11-speed group sets falling in line behind Chorus with a more affordable price point.
Athena 11 also has the durability and classic look of aluminum. The only part where carbon is used is in the brake levers,
and even they have an aluminum skeleton for greater durability. The carbon lever is nice because it not only looks good,
but also stays warmer on cold days for the fingers. Athena 11 also features many of the component design changes that went into the other 11 speed groups,
just with less exotic materials. The cassette and chain used are Chorus and the bottom bracket cups are Record.
Eight Piece group includes: Ergopower Ultra-Shift/Brake levers, Alloy Crankset, front derailleur, rear derailleur, brake calipers, bottom bracket cups,
cassette, and chain. 2383 gram average weight.
