Coconut or Copra Oil obtained from the kernel or meat of mature coconuts harvested from the coconut palm. The crude Coconut Oil which has been refined by neutralization with alkali, bleached with bleaching earth or activated carbon or both and deodorized with steam; no other chemical agents being used. It is considered to be a â??Solid Fatâ?? with melting properties near room temperature. It is waterâ??like in appearance when melted, one of the cleanest tasting, and naturally stable vegetable oil.
RBD CNO is widely used in the manufacturing of cosmetics. Massage oils, lip and body balms, lotions and beauty soaps contain RBD CNO. Soap made with RBD CNO tends to be hard and retains more water, compared to soap made with other oils.
RBD CNO is also used for cooking and deep-frying at home. It is also used in the production of some processed food, ice cream bar coating fat, frozen whipped toppings, coffee whiteners, baby food and roasting oil for nutmeats and calf milk replacers
