Buxus or commonly called Boxwood / Buxus Harlandii is one of the shrub-type plant species that can be formed as a bonsai plant. For people in Indonesia, especially fans of bonsai, they are more often referred to as boksus/buksus. At first Buxus entered Indonesia probably from Medan, because at that time many Buxus populations were found from there. Treatment for buxus is easy compared to other plants. The branches should be cleaned frequently using a soft brush. While the shaft media that is suitable for use is old/brittle rice husk. Malang sand planting medium is the best choice because it is very easy for water to pass through so it can be absorbed directly into the roots. Fertilization can use humus / organic fertilizers, especially goat manure. Buxus also has flowers between small leaves with dense internodes between the leaves that inhibit the growth of Buxus.
