SOMO sells oil to refineries only on FOB basis, in accordance with OPEC regulations.
Iraq offers attractive Distance Discounts depending on location of the refinery.
Our role is limited to securing a contract with SOMO, we have nothing to do with prices and discounts.
No upfront payment. SOMO collects payment from the Revolving Documentary Letter Of Credit (RDLC) which would be established by the buyer after signing the contract within 30 days from date of departure of the buyer�¢??s ship after loading of oil and handover of Certificate of Transfer of Oil Ownership from SOMO to the buyer.

Light Cycle Oil (LCO) is a diesel boiling range product from Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units (FCCUs). FCCU is responsible for the production of petrol, LPG and Light Cycle Oil (LCO). There are various ways of economically upgrading LCO, which include hydrotreating, high pressure hydrocracking for full conversion of LCO into Naphtha and a more optimized partial conversion hydrocracking process. It can be used in susch industries as Agrochemical, Crude Oil, Petrochemicals, Petroleum Products.
Iraqi Light Crude Oil Offer:

Up to 2 million barrels per month (and potentially more).
2. First Deal:
The initial transaction can be a spot deal, followed by a long-term contract (yearly).
3. STS (Ship-to-Ship):
Transfer point: Oman

All documents will reflect Oman as the source, though the original origin is Iran.
